Cafe and Ticketing Desk Staff
Join our fantastic Team in Milford Sound! We are seeking staff to join our Café team on a permanent basis.
If you have at least 6 months' proven Cafe experience and a desire to ensure visitors have an amazing time, we would love to hear from you. The successful candidates will have barista and floor experience, be a team player, have a great work ethic, be punctual, reliable and trustworthy, and will thrive in a very busy, fast-paced environment. We are looking for a combination of Front of House, Barista, and Tourism experience, so if you have experience in these areas, we want to hear from you. A second language would also be advantageous to assist our international guests.
The role is all about ensuring our Milford Sound guests have an outstanding experience. We have a lot of fun, but we also work very hard, keeping exceptionally clean cafe, serving and delivering quality food and beverage offerings under pressure. This role will also do some shifts on our Front Desk, checking guests in, dealing with queries and selling our products. There is plenty of variety and always something to do,
In return you will relevant training specific to our operation, uniform, your own room in subsidised accommodation,, shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. We work a roster of 10 days on and 4 days off, 70 hours per fortnight. Please note, the accommodation is single occupation only, and there are no pets allowed. The role is suited to someone comfortable living in a remote location.
